Nishiki-e (Multicolored Print), ink and color on paper. The veranda of a teahouse is seen at the left, in front a man dismounts his horse as a tea house employee greets him. Other travelers cross the bridge and arrive at the teahouse. On the other end of the bridge are the steep roofs of other buildings along the bare shore of the river. This is the first version of two that was published by both Hoeido and Senkakudo, in this print the man dismounts the horse rather than mounting it.
Nishiki-e (Multicolored Print), ink and color on paper. The veranda of a teahouse is seen at the left, in front a man mounts his horse as a tea house employee sees him off. Other travelers cross the bridge and arrive at the teahouse. On the other end of the bridge are the thatched roofs of other buildings hidden by brush and trees along the river. This is the second of the two versions of this print and it was only published by Hoeido. The most significant difference is the man mounting the horse rather than dismounting.
