The torii gate can be seen partialed cropped at the far left next to a tall pine tree that bisects the composition. In some later versions of this print a priest and three-figures in partial European dress were added in the foreground. This is not present in the archive’s print.

In front of the group taking up the left side of the composition is a large torii gate. It is cropped in half and in the archive version is a worn gray color. Earlier states of the print feature the torii as a bright red-brown.

Two teams of men lead lines of horses outside the Atsuta Jingu Shrine, the gate of which can be seen partially on the right side of the print. In the upper left-hand corner, villagers are watching tea houses with fires burning out front. This scene depicts a festival called Tango no Uma no To, that occurred at Atsuta Jingu on the fifth day of the fifth month of the Lunar Calendar.

Several large sailing boats are docked in the water. Out in the open water past the green outlet on the right side more ship have their sails up near the horizon line. The torii gate in the archive print has worn down neutral tan, gray color. In other version of this print the Torii is bright red so it is likely the Archives print was also red at some point.

- Nishiki-e (Multicolored Print), ink and color on paper. A scene of the beginning of the road at Nihonbashi. Coming across the bridge is the front of a daimyo procession, the street ahead in the foreground is filled with townspeople. On either side buildings and fences box in the composition and create a tight, busy scene. This print is the second of two existing versions that includes more people in the foreground and an altered subtitle. The original title was ‘morning scene’ but this title makes direct reference to the daimyo’s procession present in both versions. This second version was only published by Hoeido.
