In the earlier states of the print the cloud of mist is inked in light pinks and yellows. In the archives print this mist is a red-pink gradient.

Two of the women are Kyoto women selling goods called Oharame because they come from the nearby town of Ohara. Also, on the bridge are wealthy upper-class women wearing veils called Katsugi. Across the water villas and temples on the edge of the city can be seen amongst the forested hills.
