Jacob Landis shares his story about living with profound hearing loss. He received one cochlear implant as a child and his second one as an adult. He discusses the every day difficulties of hearing loss that are not immediately obvious to a fully hearing individual. He also talks about his charity, Jacob’s Ride, that he started. The charity aims to assist people in the some of the financial and administrative processes required to get a cochlear implant.
