- A member of the Policía de Hacienda (Treasury Police) stands at his post in a rural town near territory controlled by the Frente Farabundo Martí para la Liberació Nacional, Farabundo Martí National Liberation Front, FMLN, in Jucuarán, Usulután department, El Salvador, November 17, 1983. Three Salvadoran security forces, the Policía de Hacienda, the Guardia Nacional, and the Policía Nacional, were dissolved and demobilized as part of the Chapultepec Peace Accords in 1992 for grave human rights violations committed before and during the twelve-year civil war.
