- Nishiki-e (Multicolored Print), ink and color on paper. A large colorful festival procession featuring dancers in red and an ornate festival is obscured from view by the top of the entrance gate to Tenma Tenjin Shrine. Above the gate are the various buildings of the shrine.

- Description
- Nishiki-e (Multicolored Print), ink and color on paper. An evening scene of Hirota Shrine. The viewer looks through a grove of pine trees to the open shrine grounds. On the left side is the shrine building at the center is the fountain where visitors would clean their hands before prayer. Farther to the right a trip of people can be seen enjoying a meal on a raised platform, they are likely there to view the full moon. Hirota Shrine is mentioned in the Nihon Shoki (The Chronicles of Japan) as one of the shrines the sun goddess Amaterasu tasked the empress consort with building. In the 11th century, it was designated as one of the Nijuni-sha, the 22 most important shrine recognized by the imperial clan.

- Nishiki-e (Multicolored Print), ink and color on paper. On the right-side of the image is the building of the shrine. A visitor kneels near the alter to offer pray. In from of the shrine a pair of children catch dragonflies and two men (maybe samurai class) head toward the exit. Farther back a pair of women and a man passes by a sacred rock marked by a small gate and shimenawa rope. In the background is a grove of vegetation and trees alongside the entrance of the shrine on the left side.

- Nishiki-e (Multicolored Print), ink and color on paper. A huge crowd of people come and go through the bright red gates of Imamiya Ebisu shrine. Vendor stalls and pine trees line the packed walkways. Imamiya Ebisu was originally constructed in the year 600 under the reign of the first of Japan's eight reigning empresses, Empress Suiko. The shrine became famous for the bustling market associated with it.

- Nishiki-e (Multicolored Print), ink and color on paper. Depicted is the entry area of Kozu shrine. On the left side is the large stone torii gate with a shimenawa rope decorating the front. Visitors can be seen ascending the stairs up to the torii. On the right side are buildings of the shrine, a pair of stone lanterns and some garden features. Beyond this the city scape below is partially obscured by thick purple mist. Past the city are green mountains and a line of birds in the sky.

- Nishiki-e (Multicolored Print), ink and color on paper. Depicted is a birds eyes view of the main buildings of Sumiyoshi Grand shrine. Above the shrine complex is an opaque band of pink/purple mist and a landscape of rice fields and silhouetted mountains. Sumiyoshi is an important Shinto shrine that the main shrine to the Sumiyoshi Sanjin, here gods of the sea and sailing named Sokotsutsu no Ono-Mikoto, Nakatsutsu no Ono-Mikoto, and Uwatsutsu no Ono-Mikoto.

On the right is a small auxiliary shrine as well as an elevated platform where two shrine visitors can be seen hiding from the storm.

- Nishiki-e (Multicolored Print), ink and color on paper. A straight on view of a large staircase. At the base the streets are lined with shops. Various people mingle on the street and ascend the staircase. At the top in a large stone lantern and other structures. The slope is on the seven slopes of tennoji. Shingon lead up to Izutama shrine and is called shingon because several temple were established to protect the shrine, all the temples belonged to the Shingon sect of Buddhism.

- Nishiki-e (Multicolored Print), ink and color on paper. To the bottom left side is the titular shrine to the goddess Benzaiten, one of the seven gods of good fortune. Approaching the shrine slightly to the right is a man, likely a local farmer. Behind the shrine is a small pond with a mound in the center housing a willow tree and an inscribed stone. The sky is a dark gray and the various action lines are used to signal rainy, windy weather.
