- Film begins with scenes of students protesting on American University’s campus and vicinity. Students are shown washing car windows around Ward Circle, approaching vehicles and giving drivers flyers. The Artemas Ward statue is shown covered in a sheet that reads "How Many More?" There is extensive footage of the interaction between the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department and students including one arrest. The film follows the students as they head downtown including scenes outside Peace Corps office on Pennsylvania Ave. The students end up on the National Mall for a large rally and concert.

- Film begins with a stretcher being loaded into an ambulance by the Bethesda/Chevy Chase Rescue Squad and Red Cross workers. The bulk of the film consists of scenes of students congregating on and around American University’s campus including signs for a variety of activities such as a memorial service and smoke-in and images of the MPD response including tear gas canisters spewing gas and students washing out each others eyes. Also featured is footage of a formal gathering in the amphitheater with AU President George Williams, various campus administrators, and Professor Adbul Said. Though the film includes interviews with students, the soundtrack is missing so the interviews cannot be heard.

- East of the River begins with the tragic death of a young boy named Kelvin Mock, who died in a trash burn in the landfill that preceded Kenilworth Park in North East Washington, DC. The film tells the story of the Kenilworth area from a landfill to a park and provides a space for the residents to share their memories that had a connection to Kenilworth Landfill. The film was created by Amin Elsiwi, Phil Bouknight, and Jeffrey Madison. This film got into three film festivals: DC Independent Film Festival, Bethesda film festival, Community stories film festival that is organized by Docs in Progress. It was also presented at the Humanities Truck Film Festival on April 28, 2023 at American University.

Kennedy's commencement address at the American University, June 10, 1963, proposing a test ban treaty. Following introductory remarks by student organizers and by Acting President Milton Greenberg, the featured speaker, Senator Edward M. Kennedy, proposed a six-point program of "social security for children" to complete the unfinished work of President Kennedy's administration. The film concludes with scenes at the plaque on the Kennedy Terrace, located adjacent to Reeves Athletic Field, the spot on which President Kennedy stood when making his commencement address.
