  • This is a scene of course that she could not have remembered. Maybe somebody told her about it. But this was a, these are slaves who are going to the Underground Railroad to get to freedom. And the children and women and old people. Here's the lady with her belongings on her head wrapped in a sack. Everybody's bundled up, it must be the winter. They've got on cloaks and wool scarves. And, it's joyful, they're praying. I think this this older man is praying in the front. I think they're happy. I think they would be joyful. Maybe a little afraid. A lot afraid, huh? They're joyful just the the same. All of these she did in this in the 70s after she retired that book I gave you, you left that booklet here. See if there's a date there, Angie. Under that green ashtray. See if there's a date mentioned in there. I believe it was in the 70s after she retired. But she used to do them right down here in this basement. She had, she had her little table set up. She had her oven, and I still haven't emptied the closet where she has all of her supplies. No dates. But she did all of them down here.
