Washington peace movement demonstrators raised a tent on August 31, 1968 in Rock Creek Park, along P Street Beach, to oppose the House Un-American Activities Committee. The demonstrators used a military parachute as the tent and set up a pig pen to hold Pigasus J. Pig.
