A 1972 Youth Against War & Fascism flier publicizing the boycott of Farah slacks, which is endorsed by the AFL-CIO, in solidarity with striking Farah workers. Farah Slacks was a large manufacturing company, employing over 10,000 workers comprised of 95% Chicano workers and 85% are women. The strikers and their union, the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America, AFL-CIO are asking for better wages and end to sexism and racism in the workplace. They are asking for support in their strike from consumers and asking the public to not purchase Farah slacks.
