Civilians and Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo walk in protest carrying pictures of family members who were disappeared in the country's Dirty War near the Presidential Palace in Buenos Aires, Argentina, May 1985. The country's military overthrew the civilian government in 1976 and initiated a brutal dictatorship imprisoning, torturing and killing over 30,000 critics of the government, union leaders and left-wing activists until 1983.
