Description:
Nishiki-e (Multicolored Print), ink and color on paper. A young woman and child walk the path approaching Zojo-ji Temple. The path is line with several pine trees and to the right of the central figures is one of the temple's bright read structures. Further in the background more temple visitors and buildings can be seen. Zojo-ji Temple was the family Temple of Tokugawa shogunate house as was home to a large bell that was 3 meters high and weighed 15 tons. The was said to be the first in Edo and was built by order of the 4th Shogun, Tokugawa Ietsuna.
