Series: The Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido Road/ 東海道五十三次 (Tōkaidō gojūsan tsugi)
Series Description: Originally published by Kikakudo (Sanoya Kihei) in ca. 1840-42. This series is in a horizantal chuban (medium size) format and is commonly called Kyoka Tokaido. This is because the prints include comic poems called Kyoka. It depicts the 53 stations of the Tokaido road, a route that runs from Edo to kyoto.
